It is in this quiet place
this tranquil corner of space
that I sit and write
the words flow easily here
life is rich and full of wonder
in this little corner of time
so many friends drop by
their words shine like beacons
their smiles wash away my tears
they recharge my spirit
they offer a priceless gift
a friendship of words
a world untouched by strife
or pain or tribulation
and I am free in my little corner
to write the words I love

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Pegasus,

This is an absolutely beautiful write. It is kinda ironic that you wrote this tonight as I had just been having a conversation with a good friend of mine about how the Corner Pub used to be exactly like this to us, and how we would like to get those tranquil feelings back. Thank you so much for posting this tonight.

This made me smile, a quiet, dreamy place to write our words indeed.  Well written thoughts about writing I always enjoy.

Aw, this is so touching, Pegasus...
a warm and heartfelt view of this little corner!
(Lovely title, too!)
Keep writing for us, dear friend...

pegasus111:  What a nice poem!  I can feel the tranquility just seeping out of it.

Peg, I love the feel of peace and flow of this poem. This is just how i feel when writing in my garden. Friends are so priceless...Ellie
