Somewhere near the Rainbow

I was reading in the archives today, and I found a poem written by a dear friend of mine here (Munda) I noticed that I had replied to her with this poem that I thought I would share with everyone here. Hope you enjoy as much as I enjoyed finding it.
              Thanks for reading

A Star Shinning Bright Twenty Four Hours a Day

A star shinning bright twenty four hours a day
sweetly illuminating every heart beating hour
laughter and rhythmic songs dance me away
within her living dreams kissed with friendship

Sweetly illuminating every heart beating hour
I dance in her sunshine and sleep in her stars
graced by her silliness and caressed by love
a truthful friend I have found to cherish forever

Laughter and rhythmic songs dance me away
to a universe where her kind spirit's sparkling
star dust upon the Internet ground I tread on
making every keystroke a memory of honor

Within her living dreams kissed with friendship
lies a beautiful soul full of flowing abundant life
she's like a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow
a star shinning bright twenty four hours a day

This is absolutely beautiful. I'm soo glad you brought it here as I have never had the opportunity to read this beauty and I sure would not have wanted to miss such a wonderful poem about such a great person. You are lucky to have a friend such as she.

It sounds to me like you have a special bond, and your graceful poem shows it.  A well placed poem that I am glad you brought up for I may not have enjoyed it otherwise.  Your friend 'Munda' is lucky to have the likes of you and if she hasn't read this yet I hope she does soon. I look forward to reading more of your poetry.

Oh I remember this poem very well Ria! It brought tears to my eyes then as it did now. Thank you for your words then and your words now. You are a special lady, a wonderful friend, a great poet, author of a fabulous story, a guiding light to many and always willing to lend a helping hand. It is such a pleasure to have you in my life. Lost Dreamer:  some people have such a special spirit, they light up a room when they enter and slso the life of each person they befriend.  Sounds like  Munda is one of these!  Lovely tribute to her.

Ria, how wonderful is this poem! Munda is truly blessed to have you for a friend, a friend who sees her beauty so clearly and lovingly. Hugs, Ellie
