Deep within
my eyes, a sigh-
a frightened little
soul.
And tears do tread
as lips they lie-
while telling you
to go.
And this small child,
alive in my-
weakened, crumpled,
frame;
Speaks it true
when she does try-
for your heart
to aim.

Why is it that we are at our most ingenius only when trying to destroy the things that keep us alive and thriving?

Very wll put Jenn.  The child in us must not take over but we should keep a small portion of her to enrich our later years.  Joyce

Well said. I dont see you in here very often but I hope you will visit us again.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost
