If the manifestations of anothers mind
be foreign or disagreeable for your taste
attempt not to alter anothers course
rely instead on truths that are your rock
for surly as the tides shift and move as they will
so then another’s path cannot or will not bend
to please your sense of right or morality

If that path becomes too uncomfortable to stride
and each step an agony to partake
then surely another highway will be chosen
quite independent of another’s map
each mind must make it’s journey in lonely steps
and rely on character as the only guide
for there are many paths that reach a common end
who is to say which path is truer than the rest.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

This should serve as a reminder to us all.  Our ways may not be right for the next person.  Thanks.  Joyce

Great wisdom here, Peg...

True, in the end, each person's path must be their own.  One has to be true to one's self...or it is all meaning less,

Hum...a good thought to follow on with...I'm just a bit muddled at the moment.
