dream softly in the night
when the moon hangs high all silver bright
like some watchful haunting spirit of a world gone by
now I have written oft and long
and seem to sing that same old song
that brought me to this place of rhymes and deeds
yet still I find new words to share
and oft my heart with burden bared
I come away from this place, wiser, sadder, even so
you like to come here with me too
you write like me, oh yes you do
and how we like to comment write and sing the poets song
so dream softly on this coming night
think on me when neath moonlight
and know that ALWAYS in my heart....
I carry You
