Reunion

Famous man cries out
for dearly departed son.
Seeking someday reunion
love lost pierces him.

Mournfull song pouring
underlaid with hope.
Longing hidden in grief
grasps for understanding.

Tears of promise mixed
with trembles of loss.
Falling into his music
father sings for lost son.

Broken heart offered
one last, sad goodbye.
Leaving his son in heaven
a love immortalized.

The living goes on and on
stacking days, counting nights.
Sometimes; soul slashing sorrow,
reunion... a lifetime goal.

Dedicated to Eric Clapton with sympathy.

    ...was once upon, bleeding
        and Tramp Poet for awhile.
Now I'm just little ole me
          wearing nothin but a smile.

Very nice indeed, especially like this line.

Tears of promise mixed
with trembles of loss.

Vivid emotions here.
