Deepest in Dark

Candlelight dances
paints soft and low
twinkle of pretty eye.
Shadows of wine
a bite of cheese
flicker of sweet smile.

Non-electric evening
candles and oil lanterns
a time made for love.
Beautiful enhanced
my baby romanced
now we lay me down...

A whisper of love
voice deepest in dark
answering with blush.
Hand touches hand
smile touches smile
soul touches soul.

    ...was once upon, bleeding
        and Tramp Poet for awhile.
Now I'm just little ole me
          wearing nothin but a smile.
