Marie Creek

The creek is such a living thing,
To walk beside and hear it sing,
Liquid songs about it's sources.
It's diversions and it's courses.
All the wildlife it has nourished.
Lovely flowers that have flourished
All along it's verdant edges,
Where the wild duck hides in sedges.
It brings life to many masses,
Gives it's gift and onward passes!

such a lovely clever piece.  so well conceived.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Blooming Rose:  Thanks for reading and commenting on this.  I too love everything about nature!  I am fortunate to live in the country where I see many types of wildlife.

Don:  Don't think you'd enjoy dipping your toes in Marie Creek at the moment!  However in August it's pretty nice!  Thanks for reading and enjoyed your comments.
