dull barren desert
deprived of precious moisture
yet, new life springs forth

flower among thorns
beauty in a hostile world
will not be denied

I like this.  You seem to say to me that no matter how ugly the world is sometimes, we can still find beauty.  Joyce

Both haikus are beautifully optimistic and inspiring     Your haikus are always perfection!~

Take care,
Melissa~

Dennis; How wonderful to see your incredible Haiku ! I've missed you and your gift! These are perfection! His Grace seems to flourish best in impossible situations! Hugs, Ellie
