Let me take you to my Meadow's Glen,
                     to hear the melody within.
A place untouched with time and sorrow,
                     where solitude prepares tomorrow.

                     Every lush, inviting, cherished thought,
every prayer and hope a poet sought,
all the dreams and longings so deserved,
are cleansed, renewed and all preserved.

When midnight grace meets morning song.
and every breath is free and strong,
you'll heal an empty, grieving soul
                     as restoration makes you whole.

Continue on and you shall lose,
                     this opportunity for muse,
as blessings far beyond your view,
are waiting here to welcome you.

Shangri la??  would that such a place existed. If it did it would be as you described it here..nicely done

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Beautiful, Kathleen, and why not this place of serenity to exist always in the heart?

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

When someone reads and takes the time
to respond it just means so much, thank you ladies!
