There is an ebb within us all
it lives, it breathes, this waterfall.
Be drop of rain or ocean waves
a spirit flows the body craves.

No one knows my hidden dreams.
They're moving in renewing streams.
I seek to slowly tread upon
a shoreline breathing heaven's dawn.

For every loss that summons me
a star will shine on emerald sea.
My lips will taste the salty air
my eyelids gather strength from there.

Come wash my pain and fear inside,
I bask in virgin melting tide.
For now I know there's always been
a faith, ebb faith that heals within.

Kathleen:  This is so beautiful and shows such an awareness of that inner strength we all have when we need it.

Glorious poem, Kathleen...truly beautiful as you poetically describe the one thing that matters, the Faith within! Hugs, Elie
