I love you to death,
more than anyone could know.
My love is so strong
even I can not make it show.
It's deeper than anything
I've have ever felt before,
but I have come to realize
we won't be "forever more".
So I'm your friend first,
before love comes into play.
Even though I'm afraid
just being your friend I'll faid away.
Tell me everything that goes on with you,
because of you my heart can take it.
If you keep secrets from me
instead of holding my heart you'll break it.
Talk about your problems,
let me know what's going on.
Maybe I could give you advice
or just be a shoulder for you to lean on.
Just a smile on your face.
That's all that matters to me.
Whatever makes you happy,
that's how I want for it to be.
Cuz even though I love you
with everything in me,
I'm your friend first
