was it worth it embarassment of memory so soon after the first unspoken now thoughts twist and turn sleep for the weary yet the weary can't shut out the hurt cried crystal tears stained my body trickling down felt at the bottom of my soul flooding me, filling me till the rains seep through the pores the burial of pain through empty eyes lieing within despair comfort engraved as we crossed the line of fantasy to reality carved faces, stone cold I fight this battle alone tattered I shall drink to you tonight then settle back into a world of shadings the color lifted from the pressings of your words peeling back the protective layers once again leaving me open to disease I have released you from my torment of sharing through lines of being my knight and the reflection in my mirror that touched me with whispers words that my lips can no longer express you were the dream within my dream now shelved along with the fairy tale life to be opened, read someday the struggling I did to understand you it was as if you never knew me were blind to my feelings deaf to my heart's wants the beating so strong at times I thought I would explode you lived inside me I carried you everywhere I went I breathed out the life you breathed into me and I have failed in the one thing that held me together during these times of indecision my nights will be silent now no screaming out for you no candles lit to produce the shadows awaiting your entrance I will bathe in the pain a reminder that all is not what it seems in life illusions...figments we were once, in each others arms. |

my sweet poet, these feelings I read and cherish in my heart for I relate to them in a way, a small way. And though I don't know you nor your pain, I felt this so intensely in my spirit.
