Gathering Corn
~*Marge Tindal*~

In the heart fields of a friend
We've farmered the finest crop
Gathering in the golden maize
Harvesting our friendship
Reaping in abundance
that which we have sown~

*For Trillium and Ron
Isn't it just aMAIZEing ?
Thank you for the harvest~

Ah there is nothing like a good corn crop.  Of course I am quite disgusted with the corn we buy these days.  Everything is super sweet.  Bah! Humbug!  Back to growing my own.  Joyce

Joyce~
Well ... metaphorically speaking -
this is a 'good corn crop', comprising the kernels of friendship~
Can't get too 'super sweet' for me~
*Hugs*

Vicky~
Aren't you quite the little corn-quipper~
Delightful to share the harvest of friendship~

Denise~
Welcome to the Corn Festival~
Grandma always said,
"The EAR of a friend is a harvest to be treasured."

I thank everyone here for the abundance of friendship.
You all make it so rewarding to be a poet~
