How can we turn away so soon, From horror to more happy things; To birthday cakes, vacation plans, Or gleaming, gold engagement rings? Dear Souls, who perished on that day, Don't think we have forgotten you. We simply have gone on our way, Making unfinished dreams come true. You didn't live to achieve deeds That were important in your schemes. Now we must carry on for you Nor let the foe frustrate your dreams. I am sure we could never forget..and I know they would want us to keep on living and pursuing our dreams..and in time I know their murderers will be punished. I am glad we are not rushing in..but rooting them out. |
