The sky was blue
As I recall
I was at work
Before the fall
The sirens many
They blasted by
The trains are stopped
Nothing would fly
The sky was blue
As I recall
The traffic stuck
No motion at all
The sirens many
They blasted by
Ear pressed to radio
As I tried to reason why
The sky still blue
And I recall
I made it home
And hugged them all
The sirens many
Though on TV
I made a frantic phone call
To relax my family
The sky was blue
And I recall
Sighing with relief
That I still had my all
The sirens many
Through the scenes
Made a quick reminder
Of the many missing
And I pray

Blue September skies will never be the same, will they? So glad you are safe.

We are a nation praying and I hope we can carry that forward into the future.

I think it is one of those moments in time which will forever be etched on all of our memories. We will all remember where we were when we first heard the news. Well written Bob
