Cadence of crickets
summers ending symphony
waken autumns dream

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Yes, your midnight music is beautiful!
And here is a morning tune for you:

Raucous ravens speak
Morning messages so deep
Gaw! Gaw! Gaw! Gaw! Gaw!

Good read.
We finally got some rain in S. Tx. and it feels like autumn.

Ellie ~ This is by far your best haiku.  This is so soothing and lovely! I rarely save haikus in my libray, but, this one deserves to be there

Take care,

This is a great haiku Ellie. Although my house seems to be infested with the crickets and right now I'm not sure how lovely their music sounds.
