Tho' born a babe of Winter
And two months premature,
I can't say that my season
But just one that I endure.

If i'd been a full term baby
My birth would have been in the Spring,
But just as lovely as it is
That still is not my thing.

And tho' Autumns are awesome
With the blaze of color hues,
Yet it would not be my Top Pick
Of the Season, o'er all I would choose.

Tho' born a babe of Winter
A Summer man, is what I'd be,
When I can go out of doors
With clothing light and free.

To take a dip in the lake
And picnic in the park,
During the extended daylight hours
Which helps stave off the dark.

Yes, I'm a man of Summer
For such is my chosen season,
I did not get to choose my birth
But Summer, to me is pleasin'!

Every Day's a Blessing
And Gift-Wrapped from Above,
Share it with another
And Spread the Father's Love!!!

May You come to Know His Best Blessing

David,
Being your twin, I can relate to this poem, I too, prefer summer but PLEASE don't take away the other seasons from me for they all have their merits and often remind me how much I LOVE SUMMER. Love ya, Dennis :^)

Moonbeams radiate
When the veiling cloud has passed
Playful shadows dance

I relate to this poem and I think I posted one about it sometime ago.  But summer is definitely my time and I was born in July.  I liked this.  Joyce

David; since my birthday is only two days after yours, I can feel apart of what you're saying, and very cleverly too! Summer is my all time favorite, then the hope that Spring always brings.. Hugs to you, Bro. Ellie

I like the poem very much but summer is not my favorite season!  I love spring and fall the best I was born in November.

I was born in summer David but...fall and winter ('cept for icy roads) are my favorites.  Great job here!  Bonnie

Well I like spring just before it gets to summer

I am a spring baby
and I must confess
I love every moment of it!
