The Faerie Queen lived
in the Enchanted Cottage,
and reigned over all the Faeries
in the Enchanted Woods.

But she was lonely.

She had aquired an attitude
of Queenly superiority.
Not because she was superior,
but because she felt inferior.

Isolated as a young Faerie,
never feeling part of a family,
because she was so unloved.

How she longed to be ordinary!

This superior attitude
kept everyone at a distance.
This way she felt safe
from being hurt and rejected.

Then she met the Faerie King.
Who loved her for herself.
He who created all,
loved her without condition.

So...she blossomed!
and knew...
Oneness!

and was never lonely again.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

This is quite a venue for illustrating the way we adopt various attitudes for ourselves-
and how they often work against us instead of for us, until someone with a great attitude comes along and helps us to grow & change in more positive paths.
Ellie, this is a lovely way of expressing these psychological truths- Thanks for sharing it- more are always welcome!
