Among the graves, the ravens walk.
They mutter and they seem to talk.
They fly in ragged disarray.
Whenever someone comes their way.

Then from the trees with beady eyes,
They stare and utter raucous cries.
Do they arrive with early light?
Or do they wander here all night?

The cemetery seems to be
A special place for them and me.
With flower-laden hands I bring,
Sweet tributes from another spring.

I love the awareness to acknowledge a link between unlikely creatures. Though motives in this case may differ, such moments seem surreal to me. I liked this one.
