Manufactured Darkness Reading the comments posted by dear friends darkside of my work. Two haikus per stanza modernistic versus traditional perhaps simply reflections. Evolution of decades expression, some fair others woefully amateur. Just keep doing it like i ever really had a choice lost and found, Q and A. Mama, she laughs says i can see the darkside of ice cream cones. Still laughing she implores “now don’t ruin ice cream” can a challenge be unanswered? Pretty cone so tantalizing frozen heaven wrapped in sugar folks tending to lie to themselves. Like most of life, is it not? the evil and death hidden inside wrapped in innocent pleasure. Never seeing the rotten teeth the pain, the pounds, the addiction the sweet, sensuous lies of sugar. Yes lies. Like an AIDS hooker dressed to look so enticing, alluring yet inside lurks slow, painful death. Mama is hitting me now, repeatedly so guess, i shall need to stop before any lasting injury. One last slap as she hurries away yelling about never seeing a cone the same perhaps it’s time for sugar free... Tramp Poet: |

Unfortunately, there is a darkside to everything and we can never forget that. This is a realistic poem and I like it, the way that it exposes the truth. *+*Would you be known by everybody? Then you know nobody.~ |
