This desk upon which I write,
was lovingly crafted by Bob,
my wonderful son-in-law.

For years I dreamed
of a writing desk of my own,
with cubby holes and drawers
where muses and fairies
would inspire.
Fairy dust to bring magic
upon pen and paper.

For when lovingly created,
the angels blessings come,
the fairies to enchant!

And so I write my first poem
upon this enchanted desk,
made with loving hands
and heart.

Thank you, Bob.
May the fairies be with you.
If you believe, of course!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

What a sweet poem as a thank you for a wonderful gift.

This is stunning.  A light delicate writing full of enchantment itself.

I loved reading about this!

Ellie~
I share your enthusiasm for that enchanted desk.
My mother left me just such a loving place to seek poetic thoughts.
It's as though she gently tucked away muses in each cubby-hole.

I'm so happy for you !
*Hugs* to Bob !

What a cool gift

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.
