Grass, emerald green
Picture perfect lawn today
Tommorrow yellow

Dandelions march
Across lawn, uninvited
Golden heads salute

Few days, gold is gone
White haired soldier waits on breeze
Promise of new gold

Dandelion bouquet anyone? Dennis :^)

The battle with the dandelions is a yearly event.  I haven't won one yet!

You have a meadow
dandi one that roars hello
waves with white fluff Paws

great Haiku..I love the way you magically put this together!  Ellie  (no bouquet for me, yellow isn't my color!)

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Dandelions' Threat

Many more to come
Floating gently in the breeze
Seeking battlegrounds
