The youthful beauty of an unlined face,
Is like the crispness of an unturned page.
Unsullied by the use that lies ahead,
A book to show its worth must have been read.
That glowing youthful beauty so alive,
Needs sustenance of virtue to survive.
The trials of life will leave a bitter trail,
Where paucity of goodness does prevail.
Lovely the face when beauty dwells within,
Nor time nor fate, can 'ere its radiance dim.
Think not the ruthlessness of time's swift pace,
Could leave its mark on that beloved face.

This is beautiful, Joyce!
It appears to be a sonnet or the like which is itself beautiful in form showing much skillfulness, lacking in the unexperienced. The only true beauty is that which comes from above and within, and which can become more beautiful, illuninated in knowledge and understanding, growing in it's radiance, while other superficial forms are only ravashed with time's passing.
Bravo for this wonderful message of
            Beautiful Truth!

No Better Place do I know
Than where Hearts knit as
one,
For in that grand
experience,
The Better ALL become.

God Bless us All!!!

Joyce; i love this! true beauty must be alight from within to be pure!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.
