W hy must Monday come so soon,
O r the weekend zip on by,
R equiring me, my work to resume
K icking me in the head--making me sigh!
D oes it have to be this way,
A week of labor, and for what?
Y ou work to see another payday

B eholding just what little you've got!
L aboring is my slavery,
U nless I'm the Bosses son,
E ver drained is what I'll be
S o who says, "Life is fun?"

Hang in there- each day is one more
closer to the week-end(or weak end-
which ever comes first!)

No Better Place do I know
Than where Hearts knit as
one,
For in that grand
experience,
The Better ALL become.

God Bless us All!!!

I enjoyed this one greatly. Well done!

David; Wonderful acrostic! but sad we have to make a living doing a job less than we deserve..and not recieving the appreciation due us, for all our hard work!  Ellie

Oh, Monday can be so cruel. But if you don't go to work, the only thing left in your fridge will be leftover cold gruel.

I enjoyed reading this on Tuesday.
