When I don't wish to write of love the words will flow, can't stay within. I will no longer write of truth or longing, real of love again. My words are all of fantasy, I lost all faith in real, you see. A day lost out, on wasted feel Once up, now down, the slide comes strong. My written words will tumble out, Nonsense at times, or even wrong. But whose to say, who knows me best To know my feelings, or all the rest... No one who knows me, really does They see my outer face I show. I'm masked, in hiding, just on stage Role playing, but now it's time to go.... "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |

Great poem. I can realte. We all wear mask for we are afraid to show the world the real us. This poem strikes a familar cord in my life. Thank you for sharing it with us. Ronil (One becomes god only when they have fully understood the role of being a human being.) |
