Memory Book

A golden book of memories
Inscribed in indelible ink
They wrote the book together
Both hands around the quill

Time had aged it beauty
Time had increased it's worth
Yet in time, it became just
An ordinary book left
Lying on the shelf

I'm so nostalgic ...

All they have to do is open that book again and everything will come flooding back.

I was just thinking the same when I read a few old poems nicely done

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.

They just don't make books like they used to--do they--Time to dust that book off and rediscover it's marvelous hidden treasures!
      Thanks for the read,

As someone who has journaled all of her life, I enjoyed this one immensely.
