The sixth in the wildflower series
____________________________________________________

What beauty this my eyes behold
in field of blue to me unfold

with subtle wink in dazzling light
beautious form, my heart’s delight

dewdrops dance on beckoning spray
about thy crown the swallows play

none rare as thee in all the land
thy scent a symphony quite grand

speak now to me in softest tone
I am thine own, yes, thine alone

this place forever etched in time
invades this heart with love sublime

embrace me now, oh precious flower
and soothe this soul till final hour

in bed of earth to lie with thee
enjoined by love eternally.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

This is so lyrical and flowing.  I get a great sense of everything you describe.  Thanks for this one.

Exquisitely lovely and romantic...your analogies of a wildflower and lovers are a treasure to behold!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

What can I do but sigh?   What a lucky wildflower to have found the love of such a poet!

Ah lovely as always

your talent blossomed brightly with this one, beautiful poem.

This is written so well!  I read it once and then once more!  (Is this the Cagman's sensitive side? LOL!) But seriously, your talent is amazing!
I'm glad I found this one!
