Although my mother is gone now
I know she loved me very much.
Although I know that she’s not here
I can still feel her love and her touch.

Yes, I know my mother loved me
And I still miss her every day
I know she watches over me.
I wish, I could wish her Happy Mother’s Day!

It's so painful to lose family members. It sounds as if you had a wonderful relationship with your mother and that is really a blessing.

2dalimit, I made a promise that I would go to my mother's grave for the first time.  She died in May 1998.  I think of her so often, but for some reason, I can't make myself go.  I feel your loss and hope you feel better as the years go by.  Hugs to you,  ME

I lost my grandma the same time you lost your lovely mother.  I know she is watching with great pride for the fine young man she raised.  I am proud to call you Dad.  This is a truly beautiful Mother's Day poem.  Thank you for sharing.

2,
The nice thing about this is that your mom not only sees your tribute to her but watched as you wrote and rewrote it. And that is a nice thing to know.  I'm sure she loves it.  Panne
