I speak to you in a different way
No need to use my mouth, my lips
I speak to you with my heart
I speak to you with my soul
I speak to you, hear me!

Hear me in a different way
No need to use your ears, your eyes
Hear me with your heart
Hear me with your soul
Hear me as I speak!

I touch you in a different way
No need to use my hands, my arms
I touch you with my love
I touch you with my hope
I touch you, feel me!

Feel me in a different way
No need to use your fingers, your breath
Feel me with your love
Feel me with your hope
Feel me as I touch!

Very well done!..I know what you mean..there is an element of love that never needs any physical expression..it's just there and I think you have done a fine job explaining it.

ethome, that's it exactly, sometimes something needs a different language than mere speach! This is about one of those times.

James thanks, you know I admire your style, and in this one poem I think I may have actually got a shade of what I meant! ;-

Tracie, glad you liked it. I'm trying for a new feel in my poetry does it work is what I need to know?

Rex, you know how I feel about your work, what I need to know is this new depth I'm trying to show does it come through? Any tips from the master would be greatly appreciated.

Marsha,

I simply love the different slant you approached this from. I truly enjoy reading poetry when it's done from a different perpective, giving new life to the story. Since all stories have been written, it's how one re-writes them that makes the difference.

You've done it well.

The only thing I could have asked for was smoother flow...but very well done.  And, yes, in your question to Rex, you came through.

Jwesley Thanks for the input, how do I get the flow smoother though, I think I've only managed it once lately. Any tips from anyone of the masters who inhabit this world would be appreciated. ;-
