Why do I Love, to be hurt yet again
is Loving so bad when it's real?
sent from above, this heavenly sin
that knocks me back down to a kneel

I get up and stand, put my heart back together
preparing to give it again
I think that I can, hope I will try forever
to make this cold loneliness end

Why is it so scary, why does it seem wrong
to Love someone for who they are
I dont wish to carry, an acted out song
she's there but keeps her heart afar

I just want to give, and get in return
the trust and Love of one true heart
I just want to live, and have my heart yearn
for someone not scared from the start.

Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer.

It's a marvellous poem, man. It happens all the time, when love gets no return, but if you believe your love is true, then expect none in return. But i liked your poem, I would've voted if there is such an option..

~I agree with James. When love is given its not always given back. But thats what makes it love. Love was meant to be simple...thats why so many say they have been hurt. Its learning and forgiveness. You know its real within and thats all that matters. Anyhow, this was a great poem. i really really liked it!~

Great piece of poetry, you've expressed your feelings well...great job.
You are not alone we have all been hurt in love but we all learn from it and it makes us stronger and wiser for the next round.

I will keep trying and trying, as stupid as it seems sometimes... I'll never know if I dont try, hopefully the right one will make up for all the wrongs. LOL Thanks again.
