Sinking

Love's loser adrift
Needful of a change in ships
This one is sinking

Very well done.  I particularly like your middle line.  This says a great deal.

Acutely felt Jamie...I've tried to do these little beauties and just can't get the hang of them...tis why I appreciate the poets that capture so much with so little.  Great work~

Jamie...

         Throw you a lifeline..
Bail out of that sinking ship..
         Let us swim to shore..

(Hope you don't mind, I loved your Haiku,
but I just couldn't resist temptation!!)

MayDay ! MayDay ! cried
The signal broadcast around
Sinking heart rescued

Guess you just got us all going

Wonderful, you said so much in those few words.  Are there any lifeboats?

Linda M.

p.s. How did you get so many responses in such a short time?  Has this poem been moved from another forum?
