    “MY FEELINGS FOR YOU”

I ran down to that lonely river,
And walked up the humble stream.
Looking for you years ago my sweet,
Was I lost somewhere in a dream?

I searched throughout the great desert,
And I looked into that vast forest too.
Someday I’ll find you for real,
And explain my tender heart to you.

In my dreams I have tasted all of your passions,
And it has filled me all the way through.
Is that your heart I hear singing my lady,
Does it sing only for me too?

And then I held your gentle hand,
I felt it so warm and filled with ecstasy.
All the feelings that you carry inside,
Is there something there for me?

Our lips touched and we were on fire,
Out of the reaches of the deep.
I know you’re saying something to me my love,
Will you be there, or will you make me weep?

Emotions that overwhelm us,
Comes from a place within.
At times we know not of them,
Does that then make it a sin?

When I hold you in my embrace,
And stare at those beautiful eyes.
I sense that you have feelings for me,
Is it just for today, or as forever goes bye?

My fingers touch your sweetness,
And my lips touch your tender breasts.
The feelings that I have for you,
May forever, never rest.

Out of the blue you came my love,
And into my heart you became everything.
You mention I have also entered yours,
And only for that, I’ll give you anything.

Bill

All I can say is WOW - you write with such tenderness and emotions, at the same time telling a sweet story.

"Emotions that overwhelm us,
Comes from a place within.
At times we know not of them,
Does that then make it a sin?"

Very powerful statement.

Really enjoyed your poem.

Oh, how lovely!  What woman wouldn't want something like this written of her?  Once again, Bill...Wonderful!

Your adoration of this special woman certainly makes for lovely verse, Bill.

I agree with claire and Eloise
Only a special love would inspire such emotions. It's nice to have a muse like that.
Very tender and romantic

Hi MMoonchild,
Thank you so much Maureen, for the kind comments from you on this day.

Hi Meadowmuse,
I appreciate your kind comments about the feelings of this poem. But perhaps the special woman is only a figment, wanting to be real.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and for your very kind comments.

Hi rosepetals25,
You have once again replied to one of my poems with such kindness, and I thank you. I love to write about romance, as I am hopeless in that regard.

Hi Elizabeth,
Yes, I have to agree with you all also, but the special one, is she here or there? Thanks again for your kindness.

Hello Gossamerwings,
Your comments are indeed welcome, and I thank you for them. The last four lines were very special, I didn't really know how much, until after I wrote them, and then read what I had written.
