I found somthing precious somthing so beautiful it takes my breath away I reached to touch this precious Gem to try and make it my own My heart was healed and my spirit soared and danced on the breeze My life was changed as I reached out to touch the gem The thrill I would get as I answered your call The joy I felt when I heard your voice You lifted a heavy weight from my mind You eased my burdens and helped me through the days All I have are my dreams and a picture or two As I wait and and look to the future I waited to make you mine to call you my wife your child my son I waited to hold you in my arms and gaze into your eyes But the thrills and the joy are gone to be replaced by worry and despair My heart grows weary and my mind is heavy I drag my soul from day to day Now I cringe and shake as I scream at the world What does it take to ease this pain I welcome an end to it all Is it to late Am I all out of love Is my heart broken beyond repair As I lay alone at night I wonder |

There is no broken heart that can't be mended... there is enough love for each soul in this world... a lucky few find it early, for others it takes some time... be patient... I would like to echo Sudhir's words be patient..you certainly have the heart of a lover so you will find another...I've been through that pain and when it ends you always end up wondering whay it took so long to move on because all of a sudden things change almost in the twinkling of an eye.. Very good poem... got your heart right out on your sleeve....take care....ethome.. |

My heart aches from the pain in this piece...maybe because it's reminds me of flashes of my own life and maybe just because it's written from your heart...You truly captured some very powerful feelings. My hope is that you found some healing in penning the lines~ |
