There was a time,
So long ago,
When life seemed so simple.
You Loved me,
I loved you.
How was my foolish heart to know,
What was and wasn't true?

Bittersweet memories flood my mind.
I'm like a ship on a raging sea.
If only the tossing of the waves,
Would bring you back to me.

I must find a peaceful shore now.
A place where I can be,
Alone to bury the treasures,
Of the memories of you and me.

"If only the tossing of the waves,

"Alone to bury the treasures,

Simply beautiful lines you've woven here Juliet ... lovely!

Best wishes,
/Kit
