Your sweet words echo through my mind.
I struggle with my delicate heart.
Wanting to believe the things you say,
Wanting to believe in you.
Will you love me like you say?
Can you accept me for what I am?
My heart aches from deep within,
So afraid of being hurt once again
Of falling for the set words you say.
My mind, body, and soul
Longs to find the divine comfort
The safety and unconditional love
That you so readily promise.
