.gif) Why do I do this.....why do breathe life into your memory Ache burns deep in my soul....but that doesn’t stop me My heart shattered into a million tears when you walked away So why do I so desperately need to feel you each and every day I hold you in my dreams and feel you deep within my soul With you I was able to be free and feel completely whole For a moment happiness and joy were mine to taste I can’t let that sweet walk with love be just a waste You showed me the view of heaven within your embrace The feel of passion upon my skin......I had never felt such grace I can’t let those moments float away...they will live forever free Free to float within my heart and cause sweet tears of memory Desire lives on refusing to believe that you won’t be back Ivy of hope grows in a futile attempt to cover this crack I know I’m a fool to keep this candle burning strong and true I know it’s time to blow it out and move on without you “I Always Will” echoes in my heart....your words upon the wind blow Torturing my heart with empty promises....but I just can't let them go~ |

BDC, Girl, you have grabbed my heart here. Wow. Power and beauty all wrapped into one small colorful butterfly package. Feel the power my friend . . . in it lies the strength to finally let go. H-this poem is absolutely amazing... I truly dont believe I have the words to do it justice or to tell you how it effects me... (but that wont stop me in worship mode) but then you already KNOW... my god girl... this just cuts so deep.... and you know that I know....(yada yada) and ya know... as much as it hurts ... and it hurts like hell... I know that you know ---- I don't think we'd trade a minute of it away..to NOT know the pain... something's are just too damn sweet to regret... something's just need to be tasted...even if only briefly... and over and above the emotions of this- I would like to say that this is a very well written poem and its grace takes your writing to yet another level... you have some amazing lines in here... the ones I could read thru my tears... the Ivy of hope metaphor kicks poetic butt and while Im down here on me knees worshiping... let me say this ... WHY ASK WHY..... You know what I always say..... "So much better for your touch" "worth every tear that I cried" and it sure does make for some awesome damn poetry... this one proving my point... I love ya for this one my dear SS... (ok...Im done now) LOL for now anyway...  later-I KNOW-gator |

It is hard to let go when you love so much, but it is impossible to hold on to a love that doesn't love you back.
