Want darkness?
Want my souls vengence?
I think you the fool
For the request you ask.
I think you know nothing
But simplest overtones
Of some news acount
Of media reality gone mad.
Do not walk this day
With sordid feelings
Of what you may be thinking
I have attempted to garner
In this bag of flesh and bones.
Your feeble, your nothing to me
Nothing but an excuse to deny
My own admissions to how
Much I really despise this.

Want darkness?
Then mother listen,
Listen to how you left
By your own words, abondoned me.
I was young, and thought you
The world, my world, my peace
Until that peace shatterd
And was replaced my numbing absolution.
I chose my life away
From your insanity and pain
That giving you left
For someone else other than your sin.
And so I listen to the wind
That took me to the streets
Amongst the impoverished
And the devils playground.
The slow nights trickle to me
As memories have made there way
To many nights of whoring my soul
So I may feel just a little love.
Want Darkness?

The night I watched
Beaten and blooded, held down
On a China town street in Frisco
Watching my lover being raped.
Then having to watch her slide
Her mind batterd more than her body
Her soul ripped from my heart
And those last goodbye's, knowing.
To travel North at 18
Finding a world I loved and adored
Only to have it ripped from my grasp
Landing like a used paper back home.

Want darkness?
Then mother listen,
I have not been kind to you.
And though years have gone
I am unsure if I may ever.
For I have seen death, and held it
Kissed the last moments of life
From freinds and lovers
Who died and had nothing.
My soul has been torn and tatterd
And the rythm of music I once played
Continues to hold me in stasis
For I need the music this day.
And I write, possessed of the knowledge
I have garnerd and kept
And pray the day I may give my levy,
To cleanse this souls last giving breath.
