state of confusion

Easy to Please

I don’t ask for much,
Just the shade of an oak
A steady cool breeze
With white water view.

Yellow roses without thorns
Jasmine in the air
Blooming in snow
My vase always full.

Better than reality
Dreamlike in appeal
All the time mine
A mix of sun and rain.

What’s in it for you?
Lemonade beneath the oak
My fan for your breeze
Waves soothing senses.

Petals on the linens
Flurries to follow
A mystery to solve
Fantasies to fulfill.

Corinne, very lovely sweet poet, and really not too much to ask for. This would be a most welcome ask for scene, especially the last verse.

Thank you, Rex, Denise, Butterflies, Park, Mark and Sudhir!

Sappy poem, though, eh?
Must be time for something dark and brooding again.
