Listening to every heart

Thresholds

To stand and gaze at the outset, mind a'spinning
and wonder if this is then the proper beginning

dare to wonder if the portal should be crossed
to stand at the brink could result in loss

swing wide the gate and travel through
for this entrance was made for you

turn from submissive to unblushing bold
and take the step, pass over the threshold.

At the crossroads one stands with a flustered soul, unable to cross over to one side or another... At such times, it take a push, (perhaps, a heavenly push) to overcome the threshold... The barriers once crossed are like shackles broken... and in freedom the soul flies...

Hmmm thoughts... thoughts... and more thoughts

Karilea, you can judge for yourself how the poem is...

regards, sudhir

Can I judge, Sudhir? I would rather wonder at the wonders before us...

as I cross the threshold...

Thank you!

Discerning which to cross lends much to the thought of the worthiness of the travel.  Great read and much inspiring.  Loved it
