I walk long the path of life
Often stumble and fall to my knees
I see so much but so little can I touch
I cry out I shout I scream in anger
Do I delight in the pain?

I have felt the flames of hell
They licked at my heels
Where can I run?
Where do I hide?
I feel the wind from the wings of angels
I watch as their tears flow
The sorrow and tears fall like rain
They flood the gutters they ease the pain

I look into the clear waters
My ears hear the songs that erupt
From the swirl the busting bubbles

All around me as the world unfolds
I see the love and I see the mistrust
I see the joy the sweet childs trust
I hear the laughter see cheeky grins

My eyes blink away the dust that feeling of mistrust
My screams of anger and shouts of pain
They too fall and gather in the dust

I walk tall I run
I reach out to touch the sun
To grab at the stars and gaze at the moon

My friends my family I can see
Will they come with me?
As to the future I rush

        This is very powerful writing, and
   it's done beautifully! It has a message
   that manifests itself in the last line,

     "...as to the future I rush..."
