Cancer can't kill dreams, hopes, love, Cancer kills itself It's not easy watching some one who you love Slowly fade away they get so weak You have to let them go some time so they can be happy You may not always want them to go but then their happy One day a little girl told me Cancer cannot kill your soul you keep it going Sometimes I wonder is there ever going to be a cure for cancer, It's not fair some live a year a week ect.. It's not easy saying good bye to your own father But all I know is he's watching me. Remember Cancer cannot kill dreams, hopes, love Peace ((fAirY pRiNcEsS)) *If I could walk that'd be awesome, but this is the way I was meant to be* |

How sad this is to read, there are a lot of emotions that I am feeling right now. You wrote this with wisdom and pain, and your powerful line "Remember Cancer cannot kill dreams, hopes, love, peace" is so true and you have said it well throughout the poem. Dearest, I don't know what to say... I just got back from 2 heavenly weeks of vacation with my imediate family... Checking the phone messages, my wife came to me and said "I have something to tell you honey" your dad called while we were gone and your little brother Gergory is dead. So many questions... Your so right. Disease can only affect our bodies. but our dreams, thoughts, emotions, and everything that is within our souls is guarded from it and they are eternal.
