1968 Recalled Life, in my hand running through empty as the sand each grain new To stop and wait then realize it's too late ~ life won't compromise Each grain of sand fast it went was it content or perhaps misspent? Well now lady... as much as I'd like to, I can't rip this thing! It is too close to perfection... which is rare! And I want to add a comment to this: ...life won't compromise Isn't this where we lose our innocence and become what is termed an "adult?" I think perhaps that may be the case. A hard realization...
