By mornings light I rise ...
and I feel you from the depths of my soul.
While in that quiet moment,
I know I am complete and finally whole.

Your still with me every second,
everywhere I look ... it's you I see.
You are the breath that sustains,
you are my poetic light of destiny.

My day's new dawn ...
my moon's midnight sky.
My falling star to wish upon,
my angel wings to fly.

I see you in the satin clouds,
I taste you in the rain.
I hear you in the winds of change ...
you softly whisper my name.

This love remains unfaltering,
your in my heart to stay.
As you shine on me with the morning sun ...
I smile and I know ... heaven's not so far away.

Glad to see that you muse is behaving, what can I see except the heavens opened and a beam of light shone through. Divine.

Janet Marie,
Ahhhhhh, this is so precious a verse.

I see you in the satin clouds,
I taste you in the rain.
I hear you in the winds of change ...
you softly whisper my name.

Phew, don't know what else to say.

Janet I have to agree with the rest of the comments. This is beautiful! Your muse is roaming round your heart again and it's spilling words of beauty on the page. I can hear them spill.......
"My days new dawn
     my moon's midninght sky
my falling star to wish upon
                  my angel wings to fly."

spilling spilling from the heart....how nice!

He must have been a very special person.  They say the company you kept, reflects yourself.  If this is true you must be wonderful!!!!!!!!   I know that I can certainly vouch for your friendship!!

This poem to me tells of your love in your heart & soul for your soul mate.  Thanks for reminding me that no matter what happens my love for my soul mate will always be there.  I need to draw strength from it in the bad times and embrace it joyfully in good times.
Thank you for sharing something so precious.
