This poem was written for my english class...The first two words in every line were given and I had to write the rest!!--Enjoy!! I Am Me And That's All I Can Be ~*~ I am me, and that's all I can be. I wonder if people wish I was diffrent. I hear peoples perception of what "we" should be. I see people trying to change who they are. I won't be like that. I am me, and that's all I can be. ~*~ I pretend nothing's wrong in public if there is. I feel bad for some one in pain... I touch air, reaching for a hand, I worry I won't find one. I cry when some one I love is hurt, well.. I am me and that's all I can be ~*~ I understand that life isn't all wishes, I say your life is what you make of it... I dream my wishes and, I try to make them real. I hope I can achieve my goals, but.. I am me and that's ALL I can be. ~*~ ~*~LiLOnE~*~ [This message has been edited by LiLOnE (edited 07-22-2000).] |

LiLOnE, So true what you have written. One can only be "me", no one else can they be, no matter how hard they try. Nicely done. |
