Even/Day/Song

You have a style
and I have a way
together we bring
about a new day

You are the dark
and I am the light
without you I am
never so bright

If clouds arise
and they often do
folks miss me,
and miss you too

But in between us
rain may fall
cleanse the earth
and souls of all

and then you come
and stars abound
lift up folk
who are earth bound

then you leave
and forth come I
to warm the soul
to hear them sigh

together we work
magic we weave
when you come
and when I leave.

Karilea~
You would know that I feel this one ...

'together we work
magic we weave
when you come
and when I leave.'

The coming - the going - the magical phrases~
seen so abundantly in your weave.
Glad to be among the threads of your tapestry.

Your thoughts are so beautifully woven within these lines Sunshine, the flow and rhyme is simply devine!  Much enjoyed this musically, magical verse!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Sunshine,
what a very nice contrast with your words. This is really different and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Very, very nice.

Hey Sunshine! that's an upbeat, romantic piece sprinkled with the sage of perception.
Great work - you tell that twenty year lover that if he drops ya I'm going to catch ya!

Marge, what can I say...oh I know, I'll go visit your work and get inspired some more...

Kit...magic works for me...

Mark...glad you like the song...can you put it to music?...

Bill...I've been known as different, works for me...

Ethome...you're too young, I'm too old, but I like the comment just the same!

PdV - where you been hiding [oh yes, the Alley, under all that Pizza] - glad to see you here!
