It has been ages since we parted
Now, frosty buds bloom

It has been ages since we parted
Now, hiberated squirrels scramble for food

It has been ages since we parted
Now, vacationing birds fly their way home

On the hallway,
The air waves are
filled with the
chatter of chirpy voices,
The noise level is
soared to greater heights
with juicy gossip
and good-natured banter

Taking in a deep breath
Enjoying the marvelicious vibes

Melody of my heart,
Song of my life
It's a wonderful world

Loved this poem also, I am sure that you have more than fulfilled the challenge.

why must we pray
screaming? why must not death be redefined? we shut our eyes we stretch out our arms and whirl on a pane of glass-patti smith

I thought everyone would meet this challenge with a nice romantic poem, but you surprised me with this theme.
The challenge was taken, and you succeeded, even if the last line was supposed to be the first.
Great poem........ great!

Kaile, the song you are singing, the melody that we heard. I think it's the song of spring.   Wonderful... It's just wonderful! I like the way you started your poem!
