It's A Quiet Night To Cry Little by little I've searched to find and even closer way To see you, find you and feel you today In me, I just didn't have this day on my side It's been one long, lonely and confusing ride... But, through it all I didn't completely give up A part of me waited, stood back, stood strong and tough I allowed for my thoughts to keep returning to you The sun's gone down, another day, I made it through... So, darkness has fallen but only a little light remains It's under these stars I've noticed just how much has changed Oh, Friend, I'm looking and can't find all the reasons why So, I sit here, in sadness; it's a quiet night to cry... If I had one wish that I could make come true I'd wish for the beach, those waves, and just me and you Oh, Friend, I can't seem to find the reasons why So, I sit here, missing you; it's a quiet night to cry... I've never felt lonely as I do tonight Praying now, that from you, an even stronger light Let me feel what it's like again to fly so high While I sit here, reaching; it's a quiet night to cry... It seems like forever since you've taken my hand at all God, I was so hoping I was never again gonna fall But, I have just a touch of a broken heart A quiet night to cry for the miles we're apart... I hope to never hear lonely so strongly and clearly again I need to find the way to reach you all over, My Friend And, though I've found a quiet night to cry all alone I sit here, waiting, for you, to carry me home...
