In the space between moments

Sprigs of fragrant lavender
Rest 'pon the hills of green
Swooning with the morning's song
Of day still left unseen.

The giggle of the floating sun
Chimes within the sky
And streaming with the rays of gold
Memories of softness fly.

Stained glass windows of my soul
Let rainbow light surround
For the glimmer known as you
Has let light in me be found.

Sweet maiden of the diamond stars
Is folding 'neath the day
For she knows darkness has no place
Where love has lit the way.

So here beneath the breaking dawn
I shall brush my tears aside
For the stained glass windows deep within
Have let your grace inside.

Krista...this is EXCEPTIONAL...
i am just sitting here shaking my head...
as always your imagery is amazing
and your vocab and rhyme perfect
but what really impresses me about this
jewel is the conception of it--
the thoughts behind it...
the poetic meaning of the metaphor of the
stained glass window...
absolutely brilliant K,
very very impressive piece of work
your muse needs to be kissed for this one..
Im sure you can take care of that-right
later-awed me again- gator

Well, the Dusk Treader is here, a little late, a little sick, but with a big smile despite all. Wonderful poem filled with your stunning imagery. Absolutely beautiful, I loved this much
