Her silence
Is painfull to me,
Though she talks about
Futures and things to be,
I hear her pain
From the confusion.

Here I sit
Miles away from her embrace,
And yes, love I do
For her is the same,
But another still tugs
At the strings to her heart.

And you don't have to say it,
I already feel her deep,
Every moment she is with me
Her presence heals,
Her smile I see
From a photo, of meaning.

And it's not she that waits
It's me, and so I will
To have my heart again
To feel the love I do.
For anothers night peace,
My tears will be.

So many will relate to your words....knowing
that if it's meant to be it WILL happen doesn't ease the pain I know.  Good work~

Michael
this is beautiful
written so gently and soft...
it has such a fragile grace about it
this is really a perfect love poem
your "far away" muse really inspires
some excellent poems from you
take care

There are places inside our souls -
that have never been touched.
There are places inside our hearts -
that need to be loved this much.
